Scope & Content The exhibition folder contains several copies of printed announcement/invitation cards, exhibition catalogues and gallery handout as well as a CD with catalogue design documents. A press release and exhibition review are included. There are documents and receipts for catalogue sales and printing. Logistical materials include planning correspondence for the catalogue and exhibition, budget lists, object lists, loan agreements and condition reports. There are also guest lists for a dinner honoring the artist, and a copy of the artist's resume.

Biographical History This Ruth Laxson retrospective featured more than 125 works including paintings, drawings, sculptures, and original artist books, mail art and more. There were works from several public and private collections and early works that had never before been shown. Catalogue includes statements by co-curators Marcia Wood and Jo Anne Paschall with essays by Laurie Whitehall Chong and Margaret Shufeldt, and comments by Merrill Elam, and Tom Ramsy, with photography by Jerry Siegel and Michael McKelvey.
