Scope & Content Series 4 comprises correspondence, business documents and papers related to research projects and miscellaneous interests. The majority of the correspondence within the collection consists of appreciative letters from artists reviewed or invitations to upcoming exhibits from both artists and gallery owners. Letters range from formal business notes to more personal discussions such as the 1988 document from Jeff Mather of Sculptural Events thanking Jerry for a recent artist talk for the Nexus Slide Exchange Program, and a 17 page hand written letter, dated 1998, from artist Antjuan Oden, thanking the writer for his review, and relating his recent struggles in the art world. Documents related to specific projects include: an art list and images for planning stages of Noplaceness: Art in a Post-Urban Landscape, featuring an examination of over 30 artists' works; a copy of Uncollected Poems 1966-2006 by Jerry Cullum; and a folder of research materials on Hale Woodruff for Jerry Cullum's contribution to In the Eye of the Muses: Selections from the Clark Atlanta University Art Galleries, 2012.
