|Biographical History||Through Atlanta’s Heath Gallery (1965-1998), it’s owner David Heath (1940-2005 ) was instrumental in the cultivation and education of Atlanta collectors through the promotion and exhibition of both quality Georgia artists, and contemporary artists from around the globe. This exhibition and catalogue document Heath as a historic pioneer, vastly contributing to the success and growth of the Atlanta Arts scene from the elevation of Southern artists to the development of local arts institutions and initiatives. The catalogue includes essays by Gudmund Vigtel, John Howett, and Laura C. Lieberman, with photography by Geoffrey Clements, James Dee, and Michael McKelvey.|
